This type of uniform was available in the 2380s but was completely phased out by 2399.

It consisted of a jacket, in the division color of the wearer with black shoulders and a white trim along the collar and jacket flap. The combadge, a delta shield outline backed by two vertical gold quadrangles, was on the left breast area.

This uniform was worn over black pants. Boots worn with this uniform were either black or entirely in division colors.

These uniforms were used on experimental ships. They were black jumpsuits with a dark gray strip that ran in an angle across most of the chest and shoulders. There was also a thin piping of division color at the top of the shoulders and a colored cuff. Cadets version of these uniforms had a white strip instead of gray across the chest.

The combadge for this uniform was a gold Delta arrowhead, with a star partnered carved into it.

These uniforms were worn by Warrant officers-in-training. They were light gray jumpsuits with a darker gray strip that ran in an angle across most of the chest and shoulders.

These uniforms were worn by cadets. They were light gray jumpsuits with a dark maroon sholders, arms and a strip that ran in down the side. They had collar insignia determining the class level of the cadet.

It was also worn by Starfleet Academy candidates or "hopefuls", without class insignia.

Starfleet personnel were issued a dress uniform for diplomatic events. It was identical to the standard uniform except the jacket extended down past the hands.

By 2384, the lab coat worn by the chief medical officer was primarily black, lacked sleeves, had blue shoulder pads, and resembled an open robe.

Starfleet offered cold gear for icy conditions. It consisted of a long thick jacket, in the division color of the wearer with black shoulders, turtle neck, forearm and hood. It had a silver trim along the hood, collar and jacket flap. The jacket was worn with thick black pants, fingerless gloves and boots.

Officers serving on experimental ships had their own variant, a light gray thick snow suit, covered by a black vest with a thick collar. It also had a hood with furry trim, and was worn with gloves and boots. The gloves were padded to keep out the cold, while the boots had ridges on the bottom for extra grip.
